Abstract: It is well known that the special knowledge of experts is successfully used by conducting forensic expertise for establishing the truth in criminal, civil and misdemeanor cases. Unlike other legal resources of proof, judicial forensic expertise is the least liable to subjectivism in assessing the facts and circumstances that constitute evidence in the case investigated or examined in court. At the same time, it should be noted that experts sometimes make certain mistakes and admit certain shortcomings, which can be remedied by hearing them.
Keywords: special knowledge, forensic expert, expert’s report, basis, hearing, tactics, purpose of the hearing.
