Abstract: This article clarifies the meaning of the expression of digitalized democracy both by reference to the notion of digitization and by reference to democracy in its classical - constitutional sense. At the same time, the pillars on which the analyzed concept is structured are identified and presented, guidelines derived from documents from the European Union level or from the examples of other states, such as Iceland or France. Following the analysis, the advantages and disadvantages of digitized democracy are outlined.
