Abstract: The article discusses the recent evolutions in the realm of study and research on children’s rights, evolutions that, by emphasizing new concepts, aim to develop epistemological, theoretical, and methodological competences necessary for the interdisciplinary and critical approach in this field. In order to enhance the principle of children’s participation to decisions affecting them, but also those related to the society where they grow and develop, we can observe a rising trend to include youngsters in the research on their human rights.
