GEORGE CLAUDIU PUPĂZAN, Considerations regarding the status of the village delegate

Abstract: According to the Romanian legislation, the village delegate is the village representative in the local council of a commune, only if there is no local councilor coming from the village. It is mandatory for the village delegate to participate in local council meetings where issues that concern the village of which he is involved are debated, and he has the right to initiate proposals local council decisions, to participate in debates and to vote (advisory) along with other local councilors.
