Abstract: The Constitution of Romania and the Romanian legislation include dispositions in their original texts relating to protection of both the President of Romania and his mandate. So we can identify four ways of protecting the President of Romania. First, we have a regime of incompatibility, a regime of immunity, then continue with the Romanian President incomes regime and the protection offered by the criminal law. All these measures are intended to provide a framework for the Romanian President to fulfill his duties.
