Abstract: The Romanian Labour Code (Law no. 53/2003) was amended in 2011 and went through a series of changes that led to its republication in the Official Journal of Romania. Some of the novelties regard the introduction of several offences that could be previously found in other special laws regarding labour relations. Thus, in the category of offences that can be committed in connection with the concluding of the contract of employment, the Romanian legislator incriminates deeds regarding the protection of minors in the workplace, the protection of victims of human trafficking and black labour.
Key words: Romanian Labour Code, offences, minors, black labour.
