Abstract:This article aims to highlight some amendments in the matter of contracts and succession within the new Romanian Civil Code (Law no. 287/2009), which came into force in 2011. The novelty aspects are briefly presented in order to display an overview on the emerged amendments and to enable correlations between the New Romanian Civil Code and the Previous Civil Code.
