Abstract: The Constitutions of Romania, United States of America and Russian Federation include dispositions in their original texts relating to criminal responsibility of the president of the state. Even if there are differences refering to regulation of this legal institutions, however, after a comparative analyses we can see common elements. First of all, the President shall be responsible for the crime of treason. Second of all, the impeachement of the President it’s always the responsibility of the legislative power, the Parliament. Finally, establishing the guilt of the President has as a consequence, in every situation, the president dismissal.
