Abstract: It is undeniable that, unification, even partial, conducted by the Geneva Conventions on bills of exchange, promissory notes and checks have been a remarkable improvement in the regulation of commercial paper, but the adoption of the Uniform Law on bills of Exchange and Promissory Notes and the check does not remove the conflict of laws.
